The strongest technical aspect of my work is the heart because it is the main idea of the work. I think the background can be improved because I made one side thicker than the other because I forgot to add water in the beginning. It was easy to glue all the newspaper down to make a collage. It was difficult creating the heart with the old photos. I demonstrated this project by gluing newspaper on a piece of card board then cutting old photos creating the heart and then painted the blue background. If I could do this activity again I would add water to the blue paint so the background would be even.

My strongest technical aspect is my face. It is the main point of the pictures that we took and developed. The lighting could be better because there was a glare. It was easy to take the pictures in this project. It was hard to blow up this picture and make it the right color. I demonstrated this project by taking pictures then taking the film putting it through the chemicals and then using the enlargers to put it on the photo sensitive paper. If I could do this project again I would make sure I had better lighting while taking the pictures so there would be no glare when I put it on the photo sensitive paper.

Coffee Camera

The largest technical aspect of my art work is myself. The main point in the picture is me. The technical aspect could be improved by making it more clear. When taking the picture with the can it must have moved a little causing the picture to be a little blurry. It was easy to take the negative and make it a positive by putting the negative on the photography paper and using the enlargers on 3.5 wide, for fifteen seconds, and a 2.5 filter. It was difficult to get the perfect lighting for the coffee can. If it was brighter you might need to open the lens for less time or if there is not enough light you might need to open it longer. I demonstrated this by using a coffee that had a tiny hole in the side of it with a piece of tape covering it. The entire can was black and did not let any light in. We took the can outside placing it on a stool about three feet away from the person. Another person took the tape off the can for 30 seconds with a piece of photography paper set inside it. When the paper was exposed to light it was focused on the person so when we ran the paper through the chemicals our image appeared. Taking the negative we made it a positive by using the enlarger and also running it through the chemicals. If I were to do this project again I would make sure the person held the coffee cup still and I stayed as still as I could while the paper was being exposed to light. I enjoyed this project even though it took a lot of patience and test strips it really worked.

In the Photogram project I think the symmetric photogram held the most technical aspect. The heart using circles was the main point and had the lock in the middle for more attention. I could have improved on having a main point for the landscape photogram, but it held its purpose showing mountains, clouds, and the sun. It was easy to create the picture that I wanted to use for the photograms. It was difficult to keep the light sensitive photo paper out of the light. If the paper is exposed to light there is no picture it just turns black and ruins the photo. I demonstrated this project by going in to the dark room using the enlargers and putting them through the chemicals to create the photogram. If I did this activity again I would make sure no one put their picture on mine while drying because the landscape photogram has a lot of marks from another photogram drying on it.

The strongest aspect of my work is the the picture the polaroids create. I think the polaroids could be improved by cropping them better. It was easy to make the back ground. It was difficult to over lap the polaroids and make it look like the pictures all had fallen in place. I demonstrated his activity by taking a picture of my friend and I holding hands before a volleyball game and placing the boarder of the polaroid picture on them to make it look like the pictures all make one picture. If I had to do this project again I don't think I would change much. I would focus on making the crops better in the picture and thats it.

The strongest technical aspect of my work was using the lasso tool to edit my teeth.  I think I should have improved the lighting in the background. It was easy to cover my blemishes and freckles. It was difficult to change my eye color from brown to blue. I demonstrated this by editing my face with the tools in the photoshop app. If I could do this again I would brighten the picture and make the colors in my shirt and the background look more different.
